Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lapra ("Lapra", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Lapra mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Website analytics

We use PostHog Cloud in the EU to understand visits to our website, referral sources, campaign tags, device and browser type, language, performance, and interactions with pages and the waitlist. A randomly generated identifier is stored in your browser's local storage to recognise repeat visits and link website activity to a successful waitlist signup. Visitor profiles record whether a signup was completed. Analytics events do not include email addresses or the contents of form fields. Session recording is disabled.

How we use your information

Sign in with Apple and Google

When you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we verify the identity token issued by the provider and store only the information needed to identify your account (a provider identifier and, where available, your email and name). We do not receive your password. Apple and Google process your sign-in under their own privacy policies.

Service providers

We use a limited set of service providers to run the Service, including email delivery for verification codes and cloud hosting for our backend. These providers process data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information you choose to make public in the app — such as your nickname, session results, and leaderboard positions — is visible to other users.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
